Wembley Downs Scout Group always welcomes new members. Information regarding our membership fees and uniform costs are shown below.
Membership Fees:
An initial joining fee of $55 applies to cover the presentation of the Group scarf and badges (given at the time of investment into World Scouting).
There are two annual fees to pay:
- Fees to the 1st Wembley Downs Scouts Group are $220 per year, payable in advance, they are proportioned by the term if joining through the year.
- Membership fees to the Scout Association of WA this covers insurance for all activities and is $218 per year.
Note: There may be extra excursions and activities throughout the year such as camping, rock climbing, abseiling, etc which will have an additional cost.
You can give it a try prior to enrolling!
We acknowledge that at times, your child might be uncertain about whether Scouts is suitable for them. Therefore, we offer all children the opportunity to attend for free up to three times, before they become a member.
Uniform Costs:
Uniforms can be purchased online at the ScoutShop. Wembley Downs Scout Group also has a collection of second hand clothing that can be purchased at very reasonable prices.
